Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X is an upcoming home video game console developed by Microsoft, scheduled for release in late 2020. Announced during E3 2019, it is a successor to the Xbox One. The console is promoted as being part of an unnamed fourth-generation of Xbox hardware. However, it is fully compatible with all games, controllers, and accessories that are currently supported by Xbox One, and the head of Xbox Game Studios stated that there were no immediate plans for first-party games to be exclusive to Xbox Series X for the next one or two years. As a result, first party games released on Xbox Series X at launch will be cross-gen releases.
